This is a great family owned and ran business.
Last year when our air conditioner went out, it seemed like Stasney was giving us a good deal; but we just ended up having problems with them. This year, when the furnace blower went out, we called a company that had excellent reviews for quality, reliability and affordability. What they found when they opened the unit was a poorly thrown together mess that they said needed to be fixed before they could start. Now we are having to pay them to fix Stasney's shortcuts. Further, Stasney never filed the necessary papers with the electric company for us to collect on the energy rebate--something only the installer can do--so we missed out on that, too. We have learned that it doesn't pay to try to get the lowest price because it costs more in the end. Caveat emptor.

I'm surprised by these reviews about Stasney Electric. We have had Stasney's do all our wiring for over 22 years. They've done everything for our farm and our home. The guys are always very willing to help us with whatever we need. We've always been happy with their service and their rates. I highly reccommend them and question the details of the other reviewers.
There is a great deal of experience between these guys. They are sharp, offer good advice and direction. Most of all you can tust them. Personal attention is delivered on each project and they clean up after themselves.
I have a pump motor that started getting louder. I pulled it and dropped it off and they replaced the bearings at a reasonable price. I reinstalled it, but couldn't get it to seal. They ordered and replaced the seal for free. There were some communication issues, but overall a great experience.
I had these guys install a new a/c for me. The condenser unit they installed outside looks like it was dropped out the back of a truck. When I asked them about it they refused to make things right with me. And the evap coil they installed into the furnace assembly looks like something a 4 yr old would have pasted together in daycare. The only thing holding the coil in is all of the duct tape they wrapped around it. Do yourself a favor and hire someone who's reputable. It is not worth saving a few bucks to go through what I have.
