Don't waste your time dealing with this place, especially if you have a heart condition as it is incredibly frustrating.

#4 is forced to go ahead #3 of her, because the handsome guy had his forms filled out before #3. #4 feels horrible about going ahead of #3, but Assist says, "he is registered as next!"

Patient #3, "do I need to register or fill out forms?"

WoW! Okay, now I guess I'll stay just to be able to write an accurate review about this place. #3 stated to me, "I thought I did as I was expected."

The staff are always friendly, professional, and really know there stuff. I can't help but believe that anyone who posts a negative review of this clinic, especially one that puts War and Peace to shame, would complain about the value of free bottled water in the middle of Death Valley. Definitely an added bonus to being a part of this community, and this healthcare system.

*disclaimer - quotes are darn close, but not guaranteed to be "perfect" as I and sure #3 will agree. If corporate makes decision and Assist and Dr / Nurse can't keep up with, there is a problem! Mayo clinic needs to listen to workers or find amazing employees that can keep up with their unrealistic schedule!

#3, "did you fill out forms?"

Assist, "you didn't fill out forms yet?!"

#3 was in for ear infection.

It is Sunday November 26th. I am very sick. Enough to be having to go to the clinic so I can get meds and be able to go to work on Monday. I checked the New Prague website on the Cobirns website AND the regular Google website. Both websites states that New Prague is open from 9 to 430. I decide that it's time to go in. Walked into Cobirns with my sunglasses, pjs and hair all a mess. Hoping that no one that we know or better yet, judges me on what I look like. Because we all know how New Prague is these days.

Me, "so if you get caught up will you have time?"

#2, "we signed the name in the time slot"

Part of me thinks the Assist and Dr or Nurse purposely dragged their feet because, well... they can. Something is wrong when you see so many "catch up" time slots crossed out in schedule. Seriously, if you can only see 3 patients an hour, then have 3 time slots per hour! Duh!

Me, "I'm not arguing, I am asking a question."

Me, "fair enough" We choose to wait to see if the current patient would be coming out soon. I would rather take a 2 yr old with minor ear infection due to teething to a clinic then the emergency room.

Me, "are you registered?"

She says, "if you want to wait then go ahead and wait, but I warned you!"

I'd give a zero star, because I think 1 star is to many for this "quickie medical establishment"

*disclaimer - I have very little medical experience so do NOT take my advice than try to sue me because you thought I knew a lot about medical procedure. However, I know customer service and this place has none!

The WHOLE time Gestapo Assistant never spoke to me after our initial contact. Nothing like, "Mam, there will not be time" or (dare to dream) "I hate to see you waste your time with 2 young children, the local hospital emergency room is available if you feel you need to be seen tonight" nope not one glance or word.

#2, "no, there were no forms"

Assist says nothing and hand her a clipboard with forms.

#3, "you have no forms out here for me to fill out."

So, I get here at 7:03 pm with 3 people waiting and 1 inside. The Gestapo Dr. Assistant says we won't have time. I asked about the 7:30 spot that was blank with a line drawn though it. She says, "the line means we are behind"

The current patient came out at 7:18 pm so I thought, “there may be hope, we'll wait a little longer.” 7:23 patient #1 went in, but when that patient went in there was confusion with patient #3.

Just than patient #2 strolls up and says, "have they called us yet?"

Anyhow, #3 goes in at 8:05 and waits, 8:14 when Dr /Nurse comes out her office, I ring the buzzer to the glass security door locked security door (I wanted Dr / Nurse to say they no time, not Gestapo Assistant) and was told, "No we do not have time!" By both employees.

I have had to bring my kids here a few times for allergic reactions and ear infections that always seem to happen on a weekend when the clinic is closed. Every time we have been here we have received prompt, attentive care, and they are so kind! You have to understand that there is one nurse and one advanced practice provider (doctor, nurse practitioner, or PA) working at a time. So if there is a line of people waiting, you may not be seen. This clinic is an awesome convenience, but they will not always be able to see every person who walks in on a busy day. As a nurse myself, I understand and respect this but I know some people may not have any idea what goes on behind the scenes. As long as you walk in thinking "I sure hope they can see me today" instead of getting upset that you aren't their #1 priority, you will most likely have a good experience here.

#3 "could I have the forms, then?"

Anyway, walk into Cobirns, there is not a sign that states that they are closed on either front door. Mind you I am out of breath because 1. I have some lung issues going on that needs to be addressed by a doctor first and then possibly an ER visit. However, no sign. Walk back there and they are not open and there is a sign on the door in the very bottom that states that they are closed and Belle Plaine is open. Now I have to drive to Belle Plaine to see a dang doctor who didn't finish the full doctor school while my body feels like glass every time I move. Great. Grand.

Me, "you won't be seen than" as #3 nods in agreement. The person turns and leaves.

Assist, "If you didn't fill out forms than you are not able to be seen!" (or something to that effect)

It's not that hard Mayo Clinic and Coborns to put a dang sign up.

Very dissappointed in New Prague and very disappointed with Coborns for not having the correct advertisements for ALL CUSTOMERS walking in their doors.

Me - checked the procedure sign, "yup, according to the posted procedure you did."

This place is a fricken joke. You call to make sure they are open and they tell you registration cut off is 15 minutes before close. You come 45 minutes before cut off and they say they are no longer accepting patients. Absolutely worthless.

She says, "I am not going to argue with you!"
